Getting to Sure-Strike Lodge
Getting to Sure-Strike Lodge: Upon arrival at Ketchikan International Airport, your party will need to check in at the Pacific Air OR Island Air Express counter. There, you will be greeted by a representative and shown where and when to embark on your flight to Prince of Wales Island, and SURE-STRIKE LODGE.
- Island Air Express: //islandairx.com
- Pacific Airways: //www.flypacificairways.com
Please make sure that we have your itinerary and names of the other people in your party by early April at the latest so that we can make the necessary float plane reservations.
What to bring
Warm layered clothing, sunglasses, rubber soled shoes (we do have raingear and boots available at the lodge), and a camera. We also recommend that you bring a carry on bag because of the added baggage going home (fish boxes) and also to avoid the possibility of lost baggage in route to Alaska. If you like to check your e-mails daily, bring your lap top, we do have wireless internet at the lodge now.
Medical History & Diet
Please advise us of any medical problems or allergies that you might have, and of any special diet you may be on so our chef can prepare meals suitable to your needs.
(The dinners at Sure-Strike always include a meat and fish option- freshly caught of course. We have crab at least one night the guests are here. Quality meals are a big expectation at the lodge.)
